Welding results have shown zero failure and found reliable joining system extrusion welding is used for thick wall plastic where it is necessary to lay down large volume and homogenous seams. The one pass of extrusion welding is enough. Thicker metrical require multiple passes and it increases the cost labor and risk of failure and several heating and cooling cycle harm the properties of thermoplastics. Therefore it is recommended to use hot gas extrusion welding process.
